    Emma

    Phone

Forward your business number to your Workky number so Emma answers, and check that it works.

    How it works

Your customers keep calling the number they know. Your phone company forwards the call to your Workky number, and Emma answers there. You choose: every call, or only calls you do not pick up (busy or no answer).

On the phone Emma always starts by saying she is an AI receptionist and that the call is recorded.

    Carrier codes

Dial the code from your business phone with your 10-digit Workky number in place of NUMBER, then press Call and wait for the confirmation.

    CarrierEvery callBusyNo answerTurn off
    AT&T*21*NUMBER#*67*NUMBER#*61*NUMBER##21# (every call)
    Verizon*72NUMBER*90NUMBER*92NUMBER*73
    T-Mobile**21*NUMBER#**67*NUMBER#**61*NUMBER###21#, or ##002# for all

Not every plan allows busy and no-answer forwarding. If a code is refused, forward every call, or ask your carrier to switch it on for your line.

    Business phone services

    • Google Voice: voice.google.com, Settings, Calls. Add a forwarding rule or link your Workky number.
    • RingCentral: Settings, Phone, Call handling. Turn on Forward all calls and choose an external number.
    • Ooma: my.ooma.com, Preferences, Call Forwarding, then My external number. Office: the user's Call forwarding.
    • Nextiva: Voice Portal, Features, Forwarding. Or dial *72, the Workky number and #.

    Check that Emma answers

Voice Agent has a check: Workky calls your business number and tells you whether the call reached Emma. To talk to your own Emma, call your Workky number from any phone.

    After every call

    • The caller is found by phone number or email, or added as a new person.
    • The call is saved with its recording, transcript, length and a two-sentence summary.
    • Tags and a short note go on the person, and a follow-up is made when your team needs to act.
    • You get one email, and a text if you switched texts on.
